1. Are Dogs Allowed on Avila Beach?

Leashed dogs are allowed on Avila Beach before 10:00 AM and after 5:00 PM. also, leashed dogs are allowed on Olde Port Beach at any time.


2. Is alcohol allowed on Avila Beach?

No alcohol is permitted on the beach.


3. Do they have BBQs at Avila Beach?

Yes, there are picnic tables and BBQs adjacent to the beach. More picnic tables are found at Avila Beach Community Park. No fire are allowed on Avila Beach, but there are fire rings at Olde Port Beach.


4. Where can I find parking at Avila Beach?

There is parking along the beach, but the spaces are limited and usually fill quickly in the summer. The Port of San Luis Harbor District maintains a parking lot one block inland. It is open from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Parking fees are $5 for the day or $3 after 4:00 PM
