1. Are fires allowed on Dockweiler Beach?

Yes, fires are permitted on the beach as long as they are in the provided fire rings. The beach closes at 10:00 PM. Many people suggest arriving early to claim your fire ring.


2. Are dogs allowed on the beach?

Dogs are not allowed on the beach.


3. Where is the area set aside for hang gliders?

The hang glider area is located at the Bluff Parking lot, on Vista del Mar between Imperial Highway and Grant Avenue.


4. What are the best baits to use while surf fishing at Dockweiler Beach?

One of the most reliable baits has always been sand crabs. Try to find them with soft bodies. Other good baits are bloodworms, mussels, and ghost shrimp.
