Beaches along the western coast of the peninsula are reached from Torrance by taking Palos Verdes Boulevard south off Highway 1 (Pacific Coast Highway). Then turn right onto Palos Verdes Drive West.

For beaches along the southern coast of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, take Western Avenue south from Highway 1 and then turn right onto Palos Verdes Drive South.
